Various
users of steel belts in the chocolate industry approached us to develop a
new material for chocolate mass transportation. They had problems in operating riveted steel belts as the rivets damaged
the scrapper and got loose. Sometimes rivets where found in the
chocolate. The black surface of old fashioned belts also caused a
major problem in processing white chocolate mass. Because of the
brittleness of the material cracks appeared often and sudden and made the
belt break after new revolutions.
In order to avoid all these problems most of our customers want to have a
belt material, which can be easily repaired, cleaned and with a smooth
surface and higher elasticity to avoid breakdown of production due to
cracks. With a new material we have been able to solve all of the
above problems and are able to provide our customers with a special
welding and cutting device for repairs.
